Thanking the staff

As the first block is approaching its end, Weinberg senior Todd Johnson and Communication Adam Welton stir up excitement and Wildcat pride among the dancers with the "Wildcat growl."

Dance Marathon members thank Norris University Center staff members for helping put the event together. The two bodies have been working throughout the year in preparation for this year's event. Students from the Louis room saw a live broadcast of "DM Club," the second location on the Norris lawn housing the rest of the dancers, as Norris staffers walked in.

"We are so excited to have two locations for Dance Marathon this year," Center for Student Involvement Director Helen Wood said. "This is absolutely amazing. You guys are incredible. And we certainly cannot do this without you. Some of these folks will be here 30 hours with you. Some of us will be back tomorrow to push all the way until Sunday morning with you. We're really excited. Congratulations. Let's go Cats!"
