15 hours down, 15 more to go

Three minutes before Block 6 began, second-year dancer Jennifer Hobbes was on the floor, relishing her 10 minute break by talking on the phone.

"I'm not that tired actually," the Weinberg senior said. "But my back's aching... I hope it doesn't keep bothering me."

The dancers this year seemed "more dead" than in previous years, Hobbes said, attributing it to being split up between Club DM and the Louis Room.

"(The organizers) can't keep the energy up in both rooms," she said.

However, the announcement of the halfway point seemed to give dancers a second wind as they jumped vigorously to the tune of Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer."
